Lighting Technology
The size of driver required depends on wattage capacity of the driver, wattage of the light and number of lights. If combined total wattage of all lights exceeds the wattage capacity of the driver the lights will not work. Example, if you want to power 3 lights and each light is 2.5W, then the total wattage will be 7.5W, therefore, you can use a 15W driver to power the lights.
We strongly recommend that you do not use alternative drivers to the ones we sell. Our light-to-driver connection system is specific with our products and other drivers may have a different connection system. Also, if a driver with a higher voltage is used, such as 24V, it will cause the light fitting to overheat and fail. LUXOSLED lighting is made to be compatible with our 12V drivers.
Lighting products that are between IP44 and IP67 are recommended for Bathrooms.
The minimum cable length that comes with our 12V lighting is 1.5m but make sure to refer to the product specification to see what the cable length is as it maybe longer. If you require a longer cable, we do offer 2m and 5m extension cables – SP3208 and SP3208/5M.
No, our lighting uses a plug-and-play system meaning the light fitting simply plugs in to the driver. Only wiring required is the wiring from driver to mains which needs to be undertaken by a qualified electrician.
No, all LUXOSLED lighting is fully LED.
Delivery & Returns
All orders are sent out on a tracked service and you should be notified by the courier when your parcel will be with you. We always aim to get your order to you by the next working day, especially if your order is placed before 12pm, but it can sometimes take a bit longer. The maximum time it should take for your order to reach you is 3 days. If it is not with you after 3 days please contact us.
You are able to return your order but you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the order.
