Quality LED Light Strips You Can Rely On

To keep your LED strip lights shining bright, we recommend using aluminium extrusions for long term use. Extrusions act as protective casing that diffuse the light from the LEDs, creating a straight, seamless beam of light. Whether you’re choosing to light up your office space or in need of kitchen lighting, adding an extrusion will increase the lifespan of your flexible LED strips. And therefore save you time and money on replacing them.   Many flexible tape lights work well for energy-efficient outdoor lighting. Frequently Asked Questions About Flexible Strip Lighting

Flexible strip lights are long tapes of light that can be used to create a line of steady, constant light. These bendy tapes can be shaped and cut to fit a room, cupboard or even to line a path.

Yes, and it’s one of the reasons why this versatile lighting option is so popular. Cutting the lighting allows for light to follow the corners of your room. To make it easier to know where to cut flexible strip lighting, all of our lighting tapes feature trimming lines at regular intervals. Make sure to cut straight along these lines carefully using a pair of sharp scissors to ensure the lights work as expected.

Once you’ve cut your LED light strips down to the right size for your room, and made sure they’ll reach the power supply, it’s time to put them up. Peel to reveal the strong adhesive on the lighting strips, then apply pressure to attach them to a clean, dry area. Once in place, simply plug the connecting cable that is already attached to the strip in to the driver which is connected in to your 240V mains supply.

Most of our strips are flat so can only be bent up or down, not side-to-side. We advise on a corner that two strips are used and meet in the corner to ensure no dark spots. An alternative would be to use our Helios or Icarus strips which can bend around corners.
